Yep, it’s been a while folks…
I been trying to recover from a massive trip, without much success.
Why? Because almost as soon as I got to New York, the Blip Festival 2008 started, and with it, my new little North American Tour 08/09… Mind you, it’s more relaxed than the Eurotour, but still pretty active. And I still got a shitload of stuff to fix, all backlogged thanks to almost 3 weeks of absolute Blip mayhem (where I managed to see a bunch of my worldwide friends, and meet some new people).
Before this year ends, I wanted to make a wrap up of my Euro Tour. I still haven’t realized everything that happened to me in those wonderful 7 months, but I am slowly crawling back into it. When i see my flickr account, I can’t believe I been to all those places. The tour can be truly marked as “Epic”.
Also, it’s been done completely by big effort and work of everyone I met around Europe. This was not like those lamers who pay themselves a vacation to anywhere, play in a bunch of pubs and return saying “I just came back from touring Europe”. This was the real deal, with all the joy and suffering it means to do it right and proper.
At this moment I am not lucid enough to say much else, so I want to do what I have to do first: a list of enormous THANKS! to all those who were part of my tour. No matter how small a role they have played in it, they were all vital to the realization of this fabulous experience (which I intend to repeat
).

So here goes a huge list, in alphabetical order:

You can’t miss this one…
Vuelvo a New York en una semana…Ahí sevemo…
OK, amazing.
I take like an hour of my time to resume what has happened the last almost 2 months, and Firefox decides to crash again, seamingly at random, like it’s been doing for the past two months. Like this, I don’t want to update any fucking thing. Mozilla better FIX THIS GARBAGE SOFTWARE FOR MAC once and for all.
So not much to say now, I can’t be arsed. I made a super cool description but all is GONE. So here’s my best try.
I been in Vienna, met Fomoke and her boyfriend, played two gigs, one with the Gameboy Music Club, been in Czech Republic, played another one there in Brno, met Kolouch and drank Becherovka, went back to Switzerland, played in Bern and Luzern, met with Stu, met for the first time Wanga and Carl, creators of Micromusic, went to France’s Côte d’Azur, played in Nice and Marseille, met JDDJ3J, Dr. Von Pnok, Zombectro, Confipop, Realmyop, Psilodump, Lithis, Meneo… returned to Switzerland, spent days at the studio with Stu, finished my Retinascan EP release, and now I am going to Spain’s Barcelona for THE LAST GIG OF THE EURO TOUR ON NOVEMBER 7th. Be there or you suck.
This description sucks much more than the previous one, but blame Firefox.
See you next time!
Austria
Brno, Czech Republic
Sedel Club, Luzern, Switzerland
Nice, P.A.C.A, France
Well yeah I been slacking and I have a shitload of stuff to write regarding Austria and the Czech Republic, and also last week’s parties in Switzerland, but I have been so much in the move it’s pretty much impossible.
So today, without further to add, I invite you to the lovely Côte d’Azur in France, where we have a 21/23 degrees (celsius) temperature right in the autumn season
Oh well, where to start?
I haven’t written anything here for weeks because I been pretty darn busy touring around The Netherlands in what has been, so far, the wildest and best month of the eurotour.
You saw the previous posts about Tilburg and all that. There’s a video of that night, someone got the last part of my then unfinished new song “61B” and a little bit of the (also new) track “Kein Pfänd”:

Hey people,
Here I am in Tilburg, the host city of the ZXZW Festival, where I played 2 days ago with my friends Stu, Goto80 and Computadora. The gig was amazing, and the people were properly given discipline as we did expect from such a fierce lineup.
Everybody here has been super nice and we have received a lot of positive comments from party goers, so I can say with confidence that the mission has been accomplished.
Also it seems we can now hear echoes on the local press. The online news site 3VOOR12 has put up a review of our night here. Obviously is in dutch, a translation will soon be available in the Press section of the website.
We can find a bunch of nice pics of that night in that link, I leave you with a few before signing out, all of them copyrighted to Mr. Herman Stehouwer:

Continuing with the pwnage of Holland, tomorrow we have a supergig that you just CAN’T miss.
After Worm in Rotterdam being completely destroyed by Stu, Goto80 and Computadora, I join them for a gig in Tilburg that promises that nothing will remain intact and everyone will be absolute fanatics of the 8 Bit World Order after their minds had been reprogrammed b our datastream.

Phew, what a weekend!
After the gig in The Hague, with very few hours of sleep and a tiresome stroll around the city, I went to Amsterdam straight into the soundcheck at The Sugar Factory for my gig at VERSCH. I arrived a bit late thanks to getting a bit lost (thanks for the wrong directions, Google Maps), but all was fine and after a nice and needed shower, I watched the cool VJ performance of Liquid Labs (one of its members an oldschool C64 crackscener no less!), then the guys from Sin Sin and after that I started my set which went on pretty damn smooth, finally solving the problems of last night, which I hope they don’t return. In any case the conclussion is that I *need* a new computer. I probably buy first one of those snazzy Acer Aspire One subnotebooks, because I also miss to have both Mac and PC platforms, and it’s super cheap. I think it’s better to spend my money in this than on an Asus eeePC, even if this Acer jobbie is bigger than the Asus one, it’s still smaller than my iBook G4 12″.

Hello people,
I write this on a flaky connection on The Hague, my current location, so let’s see if I can post.

Hello everyone,
Just arrived to Amsterdam, capital city of The Netherlands, where I will spend the rest of this month, performing at various dates around the BeNeLux area.
This is my first time here and so far it seems pretty cool.
I got two gigs right away coming up this weekend.
First, the new King Kong gallery space will have a gig in support of the Ground3 festival in The Hague. I’ll be playing as 8GB (despite the flyer communication
):
